Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- We are looking for a Guidewire Tester with strong functional testing experience on Guidewire
PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter applications. The role involves end-to-end testing of Guidewire transactions, validation of business rules and integrations, and support of Agile delivery teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities

Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing of Guidewire applications

Test Guidewire transactions such as New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, Reinstatements, FNOL, Claims lifecycle
-
Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data

Validate Guidewire configurations, workflows, business rules, and UI screens
-
Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA / ALM
-
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with business analysts and developers

Support UAT and release activities
Roles & Responsibilities
-
5 –7 years of experience in QA / Manual Testing
-
Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire testing (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter)

Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
-
Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, ALM)

Good communication and coordination skills
-
Exposure to test automation (Selenium / Playwright)

API testing using Postman
-
Basic SQL knowledge
-
Guidewire Cloud/SaaS exposure
Generic Managerial Skills, If any

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
-
High ownership mindset with proactive issue resolution

Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Prior enterprise or BFSI experience preferred
