Job description
Savvee Inc. is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to support our federal client in Camp Springs, MD in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will transform complex program data into forward‑looking insights to support operational planning and policy outcomes. They partner closely with program and technical teams to apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques and help leadership understand trends, value, and return on investment through clear, actionable analytics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Developing predictive models and workload forecasts.
- Building dashboards and analytics tools.
- Supporting analysis of missioncritical federal operational data.
- Applying machine learning and statistical techniques when appropriate.
- Supporting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and Return on Investment (ROI) analysis.
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Six or more years of data analytics experience
- Must have the ability to obtain the client’s suitability
- A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
- Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AIassisted tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A highly motivated selfstarter
- Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting large‑scale, regulated government data environments
- A certification in data analytics, Machine Learning, Tableau, and/or Power BI
