Senior Data Science Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Data Science Specialist to join an international team on a long-term project. The role is remote and requires strong expertise in Python and AI development.

• Remote | CET hours
• Part-time | 35 hours/week
• Long-term | 1+ year
• Language: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Tech requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Solid experience with FastAPI and API development
• Familiarity with Poetry or UV for dependency management
• Background in AI development (RAG, Langgraph)
• Proven experience in large, complex coding projects
• Docker, Git, GitLab, GitLab CI/CD
• AWS with serverless services
• CDK (Python) or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable APIs using FastAPI
• Work on advanced AI systems, including RAG and Langgraph
• Manage dependencies with Poetry or UV
• Contribute to large-scale coding projects with clean, maintainable code
• Collaborate with the team using Git and GitLab (incl. CI/CD)
• Containerize applications using Docker
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using AWS serverless services (Lambda, Aurora, API Gateway, etc.)
• Work with CDK (Python) or other IaC tools with deep knowledge
• Participate in live coding sessions on the client's side
