We are now looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help transform a large-scale development and deployment platform from traditional DevOps into a modern AI-assisted and agentic engineering setup.

Do you want to help build and operate production-grade AI agents used in real public services?

Twoday is looking for an experienced AI Agent Engineer to help a major public sector organisation establish, govern, and operate AI agents in production.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can design agent frameworks, implement guardrails, support development teams, and intervene when agents fail.

What you will do

• Design and implement AI agents and agentic workflows
• Build reusable agent frameworks, baseline code, and technical templates
• Define guardrails, governance patterns, and human-in-the-loop controls
• Review code, architecture, and AI behaviour
• Monitor agents in production and handle incidents
• Design fallback strategies between models and AI services
• Support and advise experienced internal development teams

We are looking for someone who has experience with:

AI Agents & Agentic Systems

• Production AI agents or agentic LLM solutions
• Conversational AI and chatbot architectures
• Agent autonomy, decision boundaries, and human-in-the-loop patterns
• Model selection and fallback strategies

Guardrails & Security

• Prompt engineering and scope control
• Input/output filtering and policy enforcement
• Protection against prompt injection and jailbreaking
• Red team testing of AI solutions

Engineering & Operations

• Monitoring and observability of AI systems
• Incident handling and rollback procedures
• Code review and architecture review
• Production-grade software engineering

Compliance

• GDPR
• EU AI Act
• NIS2

Mandatory requirements

• Documented experience with at least one production AI agent or agentic LLM solution
• Strong practical experience with AI guardrails and governance
• Experience working closely with senior developers and architects
• Fluent Danish , written and spoken
• Ability to work onsite in Copenhagen
