Location: New York City, NY (In-Person Preferred)
Salary: $180,000 – $220,000/year + 0.4–0.5% Equity

Anchr is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the first AI-native operating system for the food distribution industry. If you've successfully shipped LLM-powered products and enjoy solving complex engineering problems, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Build and deploy AI agents that automate purchasing, inventory, customer support, and order management.
• Architect scalable multi-agent systems with memory, orchestration, and tool integration.
• Develop production-grade LLM applications using real-world ERP and operational data.
• Design evaluation, monitoring, and feedback systems to improve AI reliability.
• Partner directly with customers to transform manual workflows into AI-driven solutions.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and help define engineering best practices.
• Drive platform architecture, scalability, and long-term technical strategy.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Proven experience building and deploying LLM/Generative AI applications in production.
• Strong knowledge of AI agents, orchestration frameworks, tool use, and memory architectures.
• Experience working with complex, unstructured datasets.
• Strong software architecture and system design skills.
• Leadership experience with code reviews and mentoring.
• Startup experience is a plus.
