About the Role

Job Title: Junior Consultant (AI Governance & Regulatory Support)

Location: New York, NY 10018

Role Summary:

• Seeking Junior Consultants with strong quantitative or computer science backgrounds to support AI Governance, Regulatory, and Audit activities.
• The role involves working with model owners, project teams, and governance stakeholders on testing, compliance, reporting, and governance execution activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of AI Governance forums and activities.

• Coordinate with model owners, project teams, audit, and regulatory stakeholders.

• Assist in governance reviews, testing, compliance tracking, and audit responses.

  Prepare governance reports, dashboards, presentations, and meeting materials.

• Track action items, risks, issues, and remediation activities.

  Support execution of governance and regulatory initiatives across AI/ML projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in AI Governance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Model Risk, or Analytics environments.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of governance, regulatory, and audit processes.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

  Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting/documentation tools.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI/ML governance or model risk management frameworks.

  Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments.

• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, JIRA, or governance tools.

  Familiarity with Responsible AI and data governance concepts.

• Basic project management experience or Agile exposure.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $80,000– $90,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
