Business Development Representative (BDR) / Sales Account Executive – AI Solutions
Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) – Hybrid / Field
Sales Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission OR 100% Commission Structure (High-incentive tier for proven closers)

We are expanding our footprint in the Greater Toronto Area and are looking for a hungry, high-activity Business Development professional to spearhead our local market expansion.
The Opportunity
This is a classic "hunter" role with a massive competitive advantage. You won't be asking businesses to risk thousands of dollars on software. Your pitch is simple: "Let us set up your AI receptionist for free, and you only pay when it actively handles business for you."
Your primary targets will be appointment-heavy, high-volume service sectors across the GTA where missing a call means missing revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within the GTA market.
- Target High-Volume Verticals: Heavily target sectors such as logistics/supply chain dispatch, high-volume restaurants, medical/dental clinics, auto shops, salons, and other appointment-reliant service providers.
- B2B Prospecting: Conduct outbound cold calling, door-knocking (local field sales), LinkedIn networking, and email campaigns to get in front of business owners and general managers.
- Demonstrate Value: Run sharp, engaging demos of the Vewo.ai platform, showing business owners exactly how much staff time and missed revenue they will save.
- Local Market Growth: Act as the face of Vewo.ai in the GTA, building a robust pipeline from scratch and managing relationships through the onboarding phase.
What We Are Looking For
- 1–3+ years of outbound B2B sales experience (Experience in SaaS, merchant services, digital marketing sales, or local B2B service sales is a huge asset).
- A Proven Hunter Mentality: You are motivated by tracking down decision-makers, handling objections smoothly, and closing deals.
- Familiarity with the GTA Market: You know the local business landscape and are comfortable traveling within the GTA for face-to-face meetings when necessary.
- Tech-Savvy: Fast learner who can comfortably understand and showcase an AI conversational/reception platform.
- Self-Driven & Resilient: Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity and capable of managing your own calendar to maximize selling hours.
