Position: Azure Data AI Engineer

Location: Austin, TX – Hybrid

Duration: Long Term

Experience

  • 8+ years in data engineering or software engineering
  • Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure
  • Built automation tools or AI/LLM-based solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or Databricks Agent Framework
  • Strong coding skills in Python and SQL
  • Experience with Azure Databricks (notebooks, workflows, jobs, DLT)
  • Worked with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
  • Experience in data quality, testing, or QA automation

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Python programming and software engineering best practices
  • Strong SQL and PySpark performance optimization
  • Knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI agent frameworks
  • Good understanding of Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, workflows, and Asset Bundles
  • Experience creating automation workflows and orchestration solutions

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Quick learner interested in AI and automation technologies
  • Able to work well with cross-functional teams such as engineers, architects, QA, and operations teams

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
