Senior GCP / AI Enigneer

We are looking for an experienced Senior GCP Expert / AI Engineer to join an international technology-driven organization delivering advanced cloud and AI solutions. The role combines hands-on engineering work with cloud architecture, AI integration, and optimization of modern data-driven environments based on Google Cloud Platform.

The position is available in a hybrid model from Gdańsk or Warsaw.

Your resposibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native solutions within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Design and manage GCP infrastructure for AI/ML workloads (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Workflows)
• Building and optimizing AI/ML-based solutions and integrating AI services into existing systems
• Supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Collaborating closely with development, DevOps, Data, and Product teams
• Monitoring system performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization within GCP environments
• Participating in architectural decisions and technical strategy discussions
• Supporting best practices related to cloud governance, security, and scalability

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services such as Dataflow, Dataproc, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery
• Experience designing and managing GCP infrastructure for AI/ML workloads (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Workflows)
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML services and modern AI solutions
• Good understanding of cloud architecture principles and distributed systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or similar)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python preferred)
• Experience with cloud security and monitoring solutions
• Very good communication skills and ability to work in an international environment
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• GCP certifications
• Experience with Vertex AI, BigQuery, or other GCP AI/Data services
• Experience working with LLMs or generative AI solutions
• Knowledge of MLOps practices
• Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments
