Data Architect – AI & Modern Data Platforms

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong AI-enabled transformation exposure to lead the design and evolution of modern data platforms.

About the Role

This role focuses on data architecture strategy and pipeline modernisation, with a particular emphasis on AI-assisted transformation rather than infrastructure or platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using PySpark and AWS Glue
• Establish standardised, modular, metadata-driven transformation frameworks
• Lead Snowflake data modelling, including optimisation of the consumption layer
• Ensure alignment with data governance, lineage, and observability standards
• Drive AI-assisted pipeline migration and conversion patterns (no requirement to build AI engines)
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions
